Karolina Gillert has almost 20 years of Montessori education experience. Karolina was the Head of Preschool and Reception at another international Montessori School in Beijing; and from 2010 to 2015 she was the Academic Director in The Children’s House Yayunxinxin Bilingual Campus and for the past two years she has been the Head of Schools for our international campuses. As a life-long educator, she has prior Montessori teaching experiences in Northern Virginia (Washington DC metro area) US and in Warsaw, Poland.
Ms. Karolina Gillert received her AMS Montessori Certificate in the US and served as a trainer and field consultant for training centers in Beijing. She also has run numerous workshops and training sessions on Montessori education, parenting and child development. She holds a Masters degree in Chinese Studies from Warsaw University and speaks five languages.
Katleen Mentens has been in Beijing since 1998 and has been working in the educational field since 1999. She started her career as an English Language Teacher but soon became involved in educational management. She has received her AMS Montessori Certificate from IMTI; and has been working in Montessori schools since 2012. Katleen has a rich experience developing curricula to suit Montessori bilingual language environments, training and guiding teachers, as well as classroom instruction.
Katleen is originally from Belgium, lives with her husband and twin-boys in Beijing and speaks four languages.
Rashmi Singh received her Bachelor degree of Arts with a major in History. Following the birth of her 2 children, Rashmi returned to the education field. She has earned the certificate of Parent Effectiveness Training and also completed her TEFL certificate from ITTT. She gained her Early Childhood Montessori Education (age group 3-6) from the American Montessori Society. She has been working with The Children’s House since 2013 and at present is the lead teacher of Primary 2 class.
Jean Paul Frade graduated in 2006 with a degree in Computer SYSTEMS Engineering in La Paz –Bolivia Whilst working as a Self Defense instructor, Jean Paul discovered his passion for teaching children and later moved to Asia in 2008 where he first became an ESL teacher and later on an AMS accredited Montessori Director.
Jean Paul has been part of Beijing’s international teaching community since 2010.
Ms. Sunny Liu graduated from Liao Dong College in Northern China and then completed a degree in Beijing attending UIBE. She has been with The Children’s House since 2008 and completed her AMS 3-6 Montessori Diploma and Early Childhood Education course at The International Montessori Teaching Institute in 2012. She is now the lead teacher of the Bilingual class at the Kempinski campus.
Vicky received her Montessori Diploma in Beijing (0-3 years old, IMTI). Graduated from Senior Nursing, she has nearly 10 years working experience in child care, she is familiar with the common diseases and infectious diseases. She became a teacher assistant in a Montessori kindergarten since 2010, and started her IMTI early childhood education training in 2013, and eventually got her Montessori certificate.
A graduate from MinZu University of China, Cindy has worked for the Children’s House for 12 years. She possesses a rich teaching background with young children and has gained in depth experience within both Nursery and Pre-Primary Montessori classrooms. Having completed her 0-3 AMS certification Cindy is delighted to be joining our Upper East Side team this semester as Pre-Primary Lead Teacher.
A masters’ graduate of the University of Milan, Anna joins us after recently completing her PhD in Education with a thesis in Montessori through Beijing Normal University. Anna has been living in Beijing for three years and for the 2016-2017 semester has been working in the primary international class of our Kempinski campus. Anna holds a wealth of knowledge about early years education and the Montessori method and is delighted to be joining our Guomao campus in the new semester. Welcome Anna!
My name is Balazs Ladanyi and I come from Hungary. I am Montessori Certified (AMS) with Early Childhood Education from the Shanghai Montessori Education Academy and IMTI Beijing. I also obtained my degree of Montessori Philosophy from The University of ELTE, Faculty of Pedagogy and Philosophy in Hungary. I am a certified English Teacher as well and worked 6 years as a teacher of English in an Elementary school and a private language school for 10 years where I also filled the position of lead teacher.

y name is Lilianeth Morales, or Lili for short and I am born and raised in Venezuela. After obtaining my High School Diploma in Humanities, I received my Bachelor Degree of Arts in Graphic Design from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacin (URBE) in 2010. I taught English as a second language to children of various ages before moving to Beijing in 2011 I studied for two years in a Mandarin language program. I had the chance to do an internship for a children's book library project called Pickatale, and was later introduced to the Montessori Method of education. I have been teaching in an early childhood setting for over three years. I am currently undertaking an AMS Montessori teacher training program.

With a master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism and HR Management Laskhmi entered early years education over 9 years ago after deciding on a career change when she became a mother for the first time. She has held roles as both lead teacher for 3-6 year olds and Head of Early years in other schools. Montessori qualified and beginning her second year living and working in Beijing, Laskshmi is delighted to join our Upper East Side team.

Jessica Xue, graduated from Montessori Teacher Education Center San Francisco Bay Area USA in June, 2012, and acquired the AMS Early Childhood Education Credential (3-6). Before graduation, she finished a whole school year internship at Empire Montessori Preschool in San Francisco Bay Area. After she came back Beijing, she was working at Etonkids International Campus Lido. She has been a lead teacher with The Children's House since February, 2014.
